9. Installing the Claw

FBX Robot Curriculum, Module No. 1

BEFORE you install the claw, be sure to fold down the front metal flap on the Bottom Arm Assembly (black).

For this step, you will need the following parts:

First, slide a Claw Mounting Stud (FBX-10) through the bottom Arm C-Channel as shown in the diagram below.

Next, align the side holes on the Claw (FBX-25) to the bottom Arm C-Channel, and screw two M3x6mm Allen Screws (FBX-21) on both sides through the C-Channel into the Claw Mounting Stud.

Now, slide another Claw Mounting Stud (FBX-10) through the top Arm C-Channel as shown in the diagram below.

Then, align the side holes of the Claw to the top C-Channel, and screw M3x6mm Allen Screws on both sides through the C-Channel into the Claw Mounting Stud.
