4. Controlling The FBX via Mobile Devices

The FBX App is compatible with iOS devices. Support for Android coming soon!

iOS Installation Steps

1. Open the App Store/Play Store.

2. Search for "funbotics".

1. Press Get to install the FBX Remote app.

2. Once installation is finished, Open the app.

3. When you first open the app, you may see a pop-up window asking for location permissions:

You can select whichever option you prefer. This does not impact the performance of the app.

1. Power on the FBX and wait 10 seconds.

2. Open the Wi-Fi settings on your device, and connect to the Wi-Fi network entitled "FBX-RC##".

The network name should be the same as your robot's ssid!

1. Enter the password funbotics, and press Connect.

2. Re-open the FBX Remote App. When the app starts, you will be given a choice between two different game modes— One Player, and Two Players.

One Player Mode allows you to control the entire robot (drive train, claw-arm), as shown here:

Two Player Mode allows you and a partner to control different parts of the same robot— One person acts as the Driver (Drives the robot), and another person acts as the Operator (Operates the claw-arm):

There is an additional Speed slider (top right) that allows the FBX's driving/operating speed to be adjusted as necessary.
